Spelling Tools

The students hear a story read out loud to them. Then the students fill in the missing spelling words. A list of spelling words are displayed for the students and the students can move on to the next level once all words are mastered. (Grades 1-8)

Writing

When your students are writing poems and they are having a difficult time rhyming words, send them to the Rhyming Dictionary to find rhyming words. Great Resource for all students

Have the students create a shape poem, acostic poem, diamante poem. The students first learn about the type poem and how they work. Then website ask the students to think of words that go along with that theme. Finally, the students create and print out their poem.

Allow the students to create a Venn Diagram with unit of study vocabulary words. When the students are finished with the diagram they can print it out. (All Grades)
